Payment

Payment terms are: 50% deposit payable on confirmation of quote, balance payable on final day of shoot. Due to the nature of our business and the high outlays involved in boat hire, no delays in payment are acceptable.

Availability

Availability of boats is subject to certain restrictions, eg. Location, owner's usage, shoot dates, prevailing weather conditions and storyboard.

Cancellation

Cancellation fees apply within 5 working days (Monday - Saturday) of commencement of confirmed shoot day(s) and shall be paid at the following rate:

100% for days 1 and 2
50% for days 3 to 4
25% for day 5

Support

At least one boat wrangler and/or boat coordinator must be hired from Frogsquad for each day the vessel is on shoot or being transported to/from locations. This is to ensure the safety of the boats, the trust of the owners and a successful shoot.

Travel costs

Travel costs will be charged for any work done outside the Cape Town CBD. Mileage is at the sole discretion of Frogsquad and is subject to quotation.

Vessel changes or updates

Images displayed on this website may have been altered to remove names and sponsor's logos. In some instances these logos are highly visible and may be in conflict with requirements. Should this be a concern, please request an original image of the vessel.

Any changes to the boats for the purposes of a job, eg. New paint job, maintenance, modifications etc. require the approval of the owner and Gaynor Boat Coordinators. Vessels must be returned to the owner at least in the same state they left in.

Insurance

All vessels must be insured by Production, both while in-transit and for the full period of the shoot. Should you require, we are able to offer very low rates due to an excellent relationship with our broker.
